Hearts of Iron IV is a sequel to the World War II RTS Hearts of Iron III, and in almost every way, improves upon its predecessor. Hearts of Iron IV sees you take control of any country on earth in the starting dates of January 1936 or August 1939, and sees you lead that country through the period of the second World War. The game advances upon its predecessor by allowing more greatly the ability for smaller nations to get around and introduces a new system for providing material and arms to your own country’s military and to others.
